The “Buzzell Group” started in 2006 at Houston Lake Country Club, with Keith Statzer, Chas Felton, Kevin Enckler, Charlie Bibb, and Mark Buzzell. The group was moved to Southern Landings late 2016 early 2017 when new ownership occurred, and the Dunaway family purchased the property. Since then the group has grown from just a handful of golfers to roughly 65+ active members. Typically, The Saturday Classic will host from 24- 32 players every week. We are proud of where the group started, and how far along the group has come.
